Sawubona is the in-flight magazine for South African Airways (SAA). It is packed with lifestyle, travel and aspirational content produced by leading writers and photographers from South Africa, Africa and across the globe. Juice is the in-flight magazine for Mango Airlines. From legendary road trips to unforgettable stays; things to do and food and wine; décor, design, shopping and interviews with the country’s most inspiring personalities, Juice showcases the best that South Africa has to offer.

FASTJET PLACES

Places is the in-flight magazine for Fastjet Airlines and is also available on-board Federal Airlines’ flights (a private chartered service). The magazine covers events, current affairs, lifestyle and entertainment across certain African routes, with a strong focus on luxury living and travel.

IRFA TALK

From financial news and global perspectives to regulations and the latest in sustainable planning, IRFA Talk will keep you updated on retirement, investment and industry-related news. Produced on behalf of the Institute of Retirement Funds Africa, IRFA Talk reaches decision-makers in government, the South African Revenue Services, the Financial Services Board, IRFA members, service providers and other related organisations.

ENRICH

Enrich is published on behalf of the Transnet Retirement Fund (TRF) to keep Fund members informed, and provide financial and investment guidance. In line with the responsibility of TRF to communicate to its members, Mikateko Media currently produces two 12-page newsletters per annum for the Fund.

THE BIG ISSUE

The Big Issue affords unemployed and socially marginalised people the opportunity to take their future into their own hands. The magazine has provided employment and social support for thousands of people, who have earned over R22 million in the last 20 years. The magazine’s high quality, varied content appeals to a range of readers from all demographic groups. The content includes in-depth interviews with local and international celebrities, artists, change-makers and noteworthy individuals.

MOSADI

Launched in July 2016, Mosadi is owned by Mikateko Media and is the ultimate guide for women in business. The online platform is a premier wealth-building resource for businesswomen and is packed with information that inspires, encourages and informs. Mosadi aims to create a platform for discussion, development and networking.

HOPE

Hope magazine is a family magazine with a difference. The content is based on sound Christian principles that bring a message of hope to the reader. Hope is an uplifting, spiritual read for the whole family.

BERTHA CENTRE

A special edition publication, the Bertha Centre Review was produced for the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Cape Town (UCT). It aims to provide insight into the work of the centre as part of the evolving field of social innovation.

HOUSING

SECTOR REPORT

The State of the Social Housing Sector Report was produced in for the South African Department of Human Settlements. Mikateko Media was responsible for the complete technical edit, design, cartography, printing and distribution of the Report.

HISENSE

Hisense not only has a rich culture and heritage globally, but the company has also had a presence in South Africa for more than 21 years, merging global technology with local needs. Mikateko Media produced a premium publication, Life Reimagined, to showcase the Hisense brand and company values to retail partners, distributors and Hisense South African staff.
